Elephants have been on the international most endangered species list since 1989, when there were 600,000 worldwide (less than 1% of their original number). A dramatic increase in elephant poaching has decimated the number of Africa's elephants lately. This blog exists to ensure that elephants will still be around for future generations of 18-year-olds!

Did You Know?
Did you know that elephants eat grasses, leaves, bamboo, bark and roots? Elephants are also known to eat crops like banana and sugarcane, grown by farmers. Adult elephants eat 300-400 lbs of food per day!
