I know that I have posted this before, but I thought I should say it again! Below is the site for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust fostering program. For as little as $50 a year, you can adopt an orphaned elephant or rhino. I have my eye on one... an orphaned elephant named "Shukuru." She was three days old when her mother died in the Mombasa Pipeline. When some farmers found her, orphaned, they nearly slaughted her for her meat. Thankfully, DSWT rescued her, and named her "Nashukuru," or for short, "Shukuru," which means "I am grateful" in Swahili.
Go make a difference!
