Elephants have been on the international most endangered species list since 1989, when there were 600,000 worldwide (less than 1% of their original number). A dramatic increase in elephant poaching has decimated the number of Africa's elephants lately. This blog exists to ensure that elephants will still be around for future generations of 18-year-olds!

Day 367- 90% Poached
While the picture below is from 2011, you can imagine how much these facts have been inflated. In parts of Africa 90% of deceased elephants were slaughtered for their tusks.
