Elephants have been on the international most endangered species list since 1989, when there were 600,000 worldwide (less than 1% of their original number). A dramatic increase in elephant poaching has decimated the number of Africa's elephants lately. This blog exists to ensure that elephants will still be around for future generations of 18-year-olds!

Smuggling Ivory to China
Recently, no other non-African country has been implicated in more large scale ivory seizures than China.
